Build Your Own Damn Station
If you are sick of jamming out to Metallica only to have it followed up by The Backstreet Boys, then go ahead and build your own cyberstation. The peeps over at Imagine Radio have set up a kickin little deal that allows you to pick the artists that you want to hear. They will then cycle those artists for as long as you wish, and just in case they play that 11th track that you think relaly sux, you can skip that tune & keep on jammin. This site is one of the kewlest things on the net to have running in the backround while you are looking for those elusive mp3's. And just in case you get tired of your own rotation, they also provide some preset stations as well, also with a fast forward button. The only drawback to thier presets is that they do cycle in the ads a lot more often then on your own site. They also do have a huge list of artists to pick from, and if you go through all of them within a peticular genra, it can easily take over a half hour just to get your little babycranking out moster tunes. You can also send out the link to your station to all of your cyber-pallies, which I find pretty kewl especially when chatting while jammin out. This is definately a must see site, and you will need to have the Real Player in order to hear the tunes.
